This story was first published in the Spring 2008 issue of the Swampland e-zine, which is a long defunct e-zine that featured interviews with musicians, along with art and writing. The editor of the zine provided writers with dream transcribed by Carl Jung as a prompt. I was inspired to write something folkloric within the broader future history/world I started developing back in 2003.

You’ll also notice that I’ve added some images. The blankly populated links were annoying me, so I thought I would add some spice. As with all things, this site is a work in progress.
